The BSA M20 served during WW2 and with over 126,000 M20's seeing service it was the most-produced motorcycle of World War II. It was also one of the longest-serving military motorcycles in British motorcycle history. The BSA factory at Small Heath was deliberately targeted by the Luftwaffe to try and slow production. BSA was by far the biggest motorcycle factory in Britain at the outbreak of war and with over 60 factories spread around Britain, production soon resumed after the bombing.
